Swift Quiver 5e Spell

Swift Quiver 5e Spell

Become a legendary archer with an endless supply of arrows.

Swift Quiver 5e Spell Description

A quick glance at the Player’s Handbook will tell you the basic form that the spell takes…

You transmute your quiver so it produces an endless supply of nonmagical ammunition, which seems to leap into your hand when you reach for it.

On each of your turns until the spell ends, you can use a bonus action to make two attacks with a weapon that uses ammunition from the quiver. Each time you make such a ranged attack, your quiver magically replaces the piece of ammunition you used with a similar piece of nonmagical ammunition.

Any pieces of ammunition created by this spell disintegrate when the spell ends. If the quiver leaves your possession, the spell ends.

Is Swift Quiver 5e spell good?

Suitable for all archers but especially good for ranged weapon-orientated Rangers. If you use a bonus action, you get two additional ranged attacks per round and, for the duration of the spell, have unlimited supplies of arrows to fire.

Couple this with the Sharpshooter feat, and you have a veritable Robin Hood on your hands. The spell can’t be used in conjunction with the spell Hunter’s Mark, as both require concentration, but even with this drawback, it makes for a fantastic addition to distance combat.

It is combinations such as Swift Quiver and Sharpshooter which is really going to get your Ranger’s name known around the local area, perhaps even further.
